Peyina Lin-Roberts, Ph.D.

I am the founder of Reap-n-Leap. I am a visionary who gets my hands dirty. I believe we can make change together. So, let's get working!

Enabling authentic growth drives my coaching. This growth can be collective, at the community or organizational level, or personally for an individual. As a woman of color who has navigated power structures and been in both, positions of privilege and marginalization, I am committed to serving organizations and individuals through their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) journey.

I am driven to enable social justice from multiple dimensions: personal consciousness, interpersonal relationships, organizational change, community action, education reform, media outreach, and policy. I believe that social change rests on principles of community responsibility and collective impact; on integrating leadership and equity in the same conversation. My diverse professional background puts my work at the intersection of coaching, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), and participatory design. Thus, when you work with me, we partner to craft your needs into compassionate spaces for the uncomfortable work that enables equity, leadership, and inclusion to flourish gradually and persistently.

Having grown up in a Sino-Hispanic culture (Central America, Taiwan, US), with parents who arose from poverty, I channel my broad and deep experiences of privilege and marginalization into my work. In addition to empowering your DEI journey, I have over 20 years of cumulative experience in: youth and adult learning, user-centered research, media production, leadership development, facilitating behavior change in small groups, participatory visioning workshops, and coaching training in non-profits serving marginalized populations.

I am certified as: 1) an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), 2) a Leadership Circle Profile coach, and 3) a Facilitating Behavior Change in Small Groups coach from the YMCA. I have also received training in Courageous Conversations about Race, Implicit Bias, and Racial Identity Development.

As a coach, I have empowered people to find voice & agency in oppressive work environments, craft their DEI consciousness journey, develop desirable leadership qualities, align purpose with action, change behaviors by shifting their limiting assumptions, and improve their approach to communication in uncomfortable situations. As a DEI and behavior change facilitator, I have built common ground and enabled the creation of space and compassion to reveal the uncomfortable, led participatory workshops in leadership and strategic visioning, and nurtured expansive consciousness to support group change.

As someone who has been in constant transition, personal and professionally, I deeply understand the mental, emotional, professional, and social experiences you and your organization may face as you seek to incorporate more diversity or change in your path. While I may incorporate subject matter expertise in educational psychology, user-centered research, and sociology into my present work, I find that it is my full presence and meeting your where you are that enable transformative experiences. My goal is to work with you through the challenges and rewards of your transformation.

I would love to hear you out, and see how me and my team can best meed your needs.
